Sticking to my ski town theme, one of my absolute favorite towns is Vail in Colorado. I believe Vail offers a variety of activities for non-skiers and has a vibrant nightlife. There are two airport options: flying into Denver, followed by a 2-hour drive, or flying into Eagle, with a 35-minute drive. Vail Village is known for its German-inspired architecture and charming winding streets. A major reason Vail is my second favorite ski town (after Aspen) is that you'll never be bored. From daytime activities to nightlife, there's always something to do. It is a great town for a group of friends and families. Plus, on snowy days, it truly resembles a fairytale town.

What to do:
The game room at Chasing Rabbits is so much fun and a spot we always have to hit when we are in town. There is a beautiful bar with several games to play. Whats better than grabbing a drink while shooting some hoops?!
Ice skating is located right in the middle of Vail Village and a fun activity for everyone to do.
Shopping in Vail has a variety of different stores catering to everyone. From high-end boutiques to outdoor gear, you can get anything here. A few of my favorite stores to check out are Gorsuch, Fantasia Furs, and Aviator Nation. Vail also does have a Kemosabe, which is popular amongst the ski towns.
Sleigh rides are a fun way to get outside and cozy up with some hot cocoa. 4 Eagle Ranch or Bearcat Stables is where you go to experience this. Bearcat Stables does have an option to sleigh ride to après or dinner in the mountain.
Snowmobiling is another fun and more adventurous way to hit the mountain. Nova Rides or Rocky Mountain Adventures is the go-to places with them having a lot of other fun experiences as well.
Vail is definitely a place I recommend visiting if you're seeking a magical holiday atmosphere. It truly is like out of a Hallmark movie. As I've mentioned in some of my other blogs, Vail is a fantastic destination in both winter and summer so if you can its worth making a few trips to this beautiful town!
