Discover the Best Lunch Spot on the Amalfi Coast

If you're heading to the Amalfi Coast, having lunch at Conca del Sogno must be at the top of your list. Conca del Sogno, meaning "The Basin of Dreams," is located in a small town called Nerano, between Sorrento and Positano. Conca was founded in the 50s, starting off as a small family restaurant in the fishing village. Today, it is in its 3rd generation as it was passed down to the children who turned it into the fun and energetic place it is today. Not only is it a restaurant, but also a hotel and beach club. Their hotel consists of 7 boutique rooms with terraces overlooking the water. Conca del Sogno is reachable by boat as well as car. The beach club has numerous chairs with beds and towels to be reserved and is both relaxing but also great vibes.

Conca del Sogno is definitely a place you must make a reservation for. I had planned a boat day along the coast with a stop for lunch. Arriving by boat is always my favorite way. As we arrived, our captain pulled up as close as he could go and radioed the restaurant to send their tender to take us ashore. Right away we were indulged with great music and a fun crowd. Without hesitation, we began with a bottle of rosé, instantly putting me in my happy place. With its panoramic views, incredible energy, and fabulous tunes, what more could you possibly ask for? They have a fabulous menu with homemade pastas and fresh seafood delivered every day by the local fisherman. We had tuna tartare, linguine with mussels and clams, spaghetti with fresh tomatoes and basil, and of course more rosé.

Not only did things improved significantly... the staff at Conca del Sogno delivers an impressive performance while preparing their specialty drinks. The show is truly remarkable, with lemon men dancing, singing, and spraying champagne. Their signature drink, the Sgroppino, is a delightful blend of limoncello sorbet, vodka, and champagne. As someone who typically avoids overly sweet beverages, I must say this was exceptionally tasty as they go down very easily! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast. It was a standout experience during our trip!

Safe travels!
